Description / Vintage Wooden Wall Art - Children Playing In The Meadow - Signed By Jo Rodgers
The nostalgic spirit of childhood will always be close at hand with this collectible wall art by Jo Rodgers in your collection!
Made of wood, this piece features a rectangular base. The dark stain of the backdrop makes it complement the vintage picture beautifully. The edges of the frame are cut to give the piece a rustic hand hewn look.
The picture itself is the sort that will bring a smile to any face. Two children are standing side by side in a grassy meadow, each wearing old fashioned clothes. From the boy's hat and overalls to the girl's pink dress and apron, they look as though they are standing in the pasture of an idyllic farm.
Both of the children are standing before a box of outdoor treasures. A turtle, frog, and collection of acorns look lovely set into the flowers that dot the grass.
This vintage piece is in good condition and has a few nicks and scratches, as you can see in the photos. What makes it so special is the fact that it is hand signed by the artist, Jo Rodgers, on the back. It's enough to make any collector's day!
