This delightful piece is made by H Kato of Occupied Japan. It stands 2.5 inches tall, and is one-of-a-kind. The ceramic base is milk white, with blue coloring around the rim. The base is black. I especially love the incredible pattern, which features red and yellow flowers surrounded by green leaves. It is in excellent condition, free of any visible cracks or chips.
