The candy dish lid displays a ram head handle (with a face on both sides) on top. The handle is surrounded by a raised pattern design that has 3 sets of raised pattern lines extending from it. Around the rim of the candy dish there is a beaded design (like a collar) with three sets of raised pattern lines extending to the base of the dish. Each of the three feet display a very detailed goats face. All of the design elements arein relief (raised). This is an absolutely gorgeous example of early American glass.
